Two three-pointers by Sergio Rodriguez early on second period, they gave an aggressive “breath” to the visitors, who dropped the difference below ten (33-26). But Monaco tonight were… supersonic and versatile in attack, not only did they not allow Real to get back into the match, but they increased the difference to the +20 (54-34)before going to the locker room with the in favor of 56-40! Characteristic of the image of the first 20 minutes was the fact that the Monegasques had 15/18 two-pointers, with Real being unable to stop the hosts near their basket!

In fact, the three points of Ouattara and Lloyd combined with the 6 personal points of Motiejunas, raised the difference up to the +29 (80-51)with Campacho shaping the 80-54 of the quarter.
Somehow, h fourth and final period acquired a procedural character, as the difference of the race was such that the dominance of Monaco and the victory of the Monegasques could not be disputed. The only thing that Real managed in the final was to somewhat reduce the extent of the difference, with Monaco reaching the pink match sheet with final 98-76!
