Back to… home for him Antonis Tsiftsi. The Greek goalkeeper returned to Astera Tripolito confirm the report of sportfm.gr, after his loan to Rakov.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper didn’t really get the opportunities he wanted in Poland. He sat once in the league under the posts, even keeping a clean sheet but did not get the reward and returned to the bench, while he also made two appearances with Rakow’s b team, which competes in the 3rd division of Poland.
The announcement in detail:
PAE ASTERAS TRIPOLIS announces the return of the goalkeeper, Antonis Tsiftsis to our team!
Antonis Tsiftsis, who was loaned to the Polish team, Rakow Czestochowa, rejoins the ASTERA TRIPOLIS team, with our club activating the clause in the agreement.
Tsiftsis was born on July 21, 1999 and comes from the Infrastructure Departments of our association.
We once again welcome Antonis Tsiftsis to the ASTERA family and wish him success!
STATEMENT
“I feel like I’ve come home. ASTERAS is a second family for me and as I said a few months ago, it will forever be the team I will be grateful to for the career opportunity it has given me. I thank all the people in the team as well as the coaching staff and my teammates for the welcome, I am happy to meet again people with whom I grew up in football and had a perfect collaboration. It’s time for work, so that we can all succeed together in achieving the goals of ASTERA”.
