The inexperienced Norwegian Rohit Sagi whistles at PAOK-Panathinaikos

A Norwegian referee will blow the whistle in the Toumba derby next Sunday (28/01) for the 20th matchday of the Super League. KED nominated him 32-year-old Norwegian referee Rohit Sagi in the match between PAOK and Panathinaikos. Saggy specifically turns 32 next week, on the 31st of the month.

This referee, it should be noted, made his debut last year (24/03/23) at the level of national teams, in Gibraltar-Greece. At that time it was B’ division, but in the summer it was promoted to A’. Last year, too, he had whistled the PAOK-Lincoln 2-0 in the Conference League.

This year he has whistled a total of six international gamesthree for the Europa League groups, a Georgia-Thailand friendly, a Champions League qualifier and APOEL’s qualifier against Ghent in the Conference on August 31.

His assistants will be his compatriots Eystein-Simon Iterland, Tom-Harald Grenevik, 4th Gortsilas and in VAR Tom-Harald Hagen with Nikolakakis. It should be noted that the championship in Norway is interrupted and therefore Saggy he hasn’t whistled since December 6th.

From then on AEK-OFI will have Papapetrou (VAR Fotias), Olympiacos-PAS Giannina Perrakis (VAR Diamantopoulos) and Kifisia-Aris Gamaris (VAR Tsagarakis).
