The announcement and procedures for the Panhellenic indoor track and field at SEF

The fans of athletics will again have the opportunity this year to be at the stands of SEF to watch the Panhellenic Indoor Championships on 17-18/2. This specific event will give the right to athletes of all ages to claim performances that will bring them closer to the top events of this summer.

According to the announcement of SEGAS, there will be numerical participation in the qualifying rounds and the ranking will be determined first by athletes who have reached the participation limits, then by athletes recommended by EYA and finally by athletes who have been declared by their clubs.

In detail, the following will apply:

Road races predicted number of final series and athletes

1,500m/3,000m 2 final series / up to 30 athletes (15 + 15)

5,000 m. / 3,000m. Only 1 final series up to 12 athletes

Tournament Competitions Participation of athletes in the qualifier

Length/Triple Jump/Shot to 25

Short/Tall up to 20

The sportsmen and women who participated in the finals of their events at the Tokyo Olympic Games, namely Miltos Tendoglou (long), Katerina Stefanidis (pole vault), Nicole Kyriakopoulou (pole vault) and Emmanuel Karalis ( pole vault).

The participation declarations for all, without exception, the athletes who wish to participate should be sent to SEGAS by e-mail no later than February 12 at 14:00.

After the expiry of this deadline, no declaration of participation will be accepted.
