Maria Prevolaraki, Nicoleta Barba and Maria-Louisa Ghika continue their hard preparations abroad. The three women’s wrestling champions, along with the federal coach, Moisen Parisey, participated in a multi-day training camp in Hungary, which ends on Friday.
The goal, of course, is to lay the foundations and continue the work of recent years, that is, the great successes at international level. Lately, the Greek female champions have also participated in training camps in the USA (Prevolaraki), Paris (Prevolaraki, Gika) and Russia (Barba).
The program is particularly demanding and includes multiple training sessions per day. A major goal for Prevolaraki is to qualify for Paris 2024, while Ghika and Barba want to star in their age categories.
Luck, however, turned its back on Barba. The “bronze” European champion returned earlier from Hungary, in order to get her new passport and travel to a training camp in Russia. As soon as he got his new passport, he was robbed and unable to travel.
The most important thing, however, is that the competition planning continues at an intensive pace and everything is going as planned by the federal coach, Moisen Parisey.
