Jewison Bennett to Mars: “I come with great appetite and ambitions”

PAE ARIS announces the acquisition of Jewison Francisco Bennette Villegas, as his full name is, on loan from English side Sunderland until the end of the current season.

Born on June 15, 2004 in Heredia, Costa Rica, Jewison Bennette took his first football steps in his hometown team (CS Herediano).

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder is international both with the small national teams (U15, U20, U23) and with the representative group of his country.

Although he is not yet 20 years old, he has managed to compete 13 times in the Costa Rican national team (he has also scored two goals) with participation in the last World Cup.

In fact, Jewison Bennette became the youngest footballer to wear the Men’s national team jersey and he assisted Joel Campbell in the game against New Zealand, which sent Costa Rica to Qatar.
