Zouglis: “My dream is the National team and to compete in the Champions League”

by

The attention has been drawn by Nikos Zouglisboth with his appearances in Asteras Tripolis, and with National Hope.

The 20-year-old spoke to Metropolis and referred to his team, but also to his personal goals.

Analytically:

For the fact that he still hasn’t found the back of the net in the big league, although he has provided two assists: “I would have liked to have scored some goals, many chances have been created for me. But I think it’s a good number for a start in the Super League.”

On how he feels as a Greek, that there are more foreigners in the teams: “Certainly as a Greek, I would like to have more representation in each team. But it seems that in the last two years more and more young Greeks are taking part in Super League teams, something we have seen for many years”.

For the match between Asteras Tripoli and AEK that follows: “It will definitely be a difficult match against one of the best teams in the league. We will try to hit AEK’s weaknesses and get a positive result.”

For who will win the championship: “Because this year’s championship is very competitive, I don’t have a clear opinion and I believe that the playoffs will decide everything. All the ‘big’ teams play good football. PAOK is at its best. Any team from the big ones can take the reins.”

For his own personal plans: “As a Greek I want to play in the men’s national team and the last, which is my biggest dream is to be able to play in the Champions League”.
