The Panorama at the Final 4 of the Women’s Handball Cup

by

The Panorama qualified today (1/31) at Final 4 of the Women’s Handball Cup. The GDP beat AESH Pylaias 20-19in a match for the 2nd round of the event that was held in the closed Panorama, and got the second “ticket” for the final phase of the institution, where the Renaissance of Arta is already waiting.

It is recalled that the continental group became the first team to qualify for the Final 4 of the Cup, which is scheduled to be held on the weekend of March 9-10, as Elpides Amyntaio withdrew in writing from the match against Anagennisi Artas for the quarter-final stage of the competition.

It is worth noting that today’s victory of Panorama was the second in a few days against AESH Pylaia, whose AEP prevailed last Saturday (27/1) in the closed game of Mikras with 30-29, in the premiere of the second round of Women’s A1.

In the meantime, the match between Alexander the Great and – title holder – Nea Ionia in Giannitsa was postponed, at the request of OFNI, due to the inability of the Athenian team to travel, given the weather conditions and the prohibition by Civil Protection on the movement of heavy vehicles at the road junction Athens-Thessaloniki.

The schedule for the quarter-final phase in the Women’s Handball Cup, as well as the final four pairings are as follows:

AEP Panorama-AESH Pylias 20-19

M. Alexandros Giannitsson-Nea Ionia Postponed

PAOK-Athinaikos 4/2

* Artas Renaissance qualified without a fight to the final four.

Final 4 (9-10/3/2024)
