THE Jovane Cabral was born on June 7, 1998 in Cape Verde and joined the academies of Sporting, with whom he turned professional. In October 2017, he made his debut under Jorge Jesus in a Cup match and played a total of five seasons in the first team, making 105 appearances and scoring 21 goals. In the second half of the 2021/22 season he went on loan to Lazio having 4 appearances and 1 goal, while last August he was loaned by Sporting to Salernitana having 13 appearances and 2 goals in the league and Coppa Italia. Since 2017 he has been an international with Cape Verde having 9 appearances and 1 goal for the national team, although in 2018 he had expressed his desire to acquire Portuguese citizenship and play in their shirt.
THE Ruben Vezo was born on April 25, 1994 in Setúbal and emerged from the academies of Vitoria. Valencia acquired him from there in 2014 for €2m and he stayed there for five years with the exception of two loan spells at Granada and Levante. The latter, after his loan, bought him for 5 million euros from the “bats” for 5 million euros. This year he had 19 appearances and 2 assists in Spain’s second division, while in total he has 180 appearances in Spain’s top division.
