Tottenham prevailed 3-2 of Brentford and rose to fourth place Premier League. The match had several interruptions and great tension between the football players of the two teams.
A greater impression was caused by against James Madison with Neil Maupe, where it started with an intense back-and-forth after a scramble for the ball and culminated after the Brentford player decided to copy his opponent’s celebration. Madison used to imitates the characteristic movement that professional darts players make, thus celebrating the goals he scores.
The coach of the home team, Angelos Postecoglou, commented on the event, stressing that their job is to play football and not to be spent in fights. He added that if they are brave enough, they can enter a UFC cage and settle their differences there.
“I don’t like all this bravado, or pushing people. If they’re that brave about things, either my players or theirs, let them get in a UFC cage and we’ll see how brave they really are. We are here to play football and that is what I want our players to do, to be focused on that“, noted the Greek-Australian coach.
The rivalry between the two footballers continued even after the end of the match, with Maddison stating that his opponent has not scored enough goals to have a special celebration and therefore copies his own.

Moppe, on the other hand, with a post on his personal Instagram account, gave his own answer to his opponent’s statements. As he said: “We are sad that we didn’t manage to get the win. More goals and fewer relegations than James Maddison. Here we go again Monday bees».
