The Lavrio welcomes today (14/02, 20:00) him Olympic for the 15th game of the Stoiximan Basket League.

With statements through his personal blog on ESAKE, the Vassilis Mouratos, after first congratulating the “red and whites” for their victory over Efes, he stood on Details who will judge today’s match.

He also referred to the death of his 19-year-old friend Aris, Alki Kampanou.

Details of what Vassilis Mouratos said:

“First of all, I would like to congratulate Olympiakos for its last big victory against last year’s European champion, Anantolou Efes! Olympiacos confirmed to everyone that it is an excellent team with principles and a very high quality roster. He also has the -in my opinion- best guard at the moment in Europe, Kostas Sloukas!

Regarding the match against Olympiakos, I want to point out that in the two weeks of the break, our team worked hard and emphasized a part of the game that we were behind! We really want to be competitive against Olympiakos and in order to achieve this we have to stay focused for 40 minutes on both the defensive transition and the defensive rebounds.

Finally, I want to mention that the 15th game of the Stoiximan Basket League is dedicated to the memory of Alkis Kampanos and the effort to fight violence on and off the field. Let us all send a clear message in every direction: “ATHLETICS unites, VIOLENCE does not fit in ATHLETICS”.
