Vezo: “Proud to play for the biggest club in Greece”

Happy with his transfer to Olympicthe biggest club in Greece as he described it, said Mr Ruben Vezo on the club’s official youtube channel.

The Portuguese stopper referred to his characteristics, while emphasizing that he spoke with Hernani and Bruma when he accepted the offer from the “red and whites”.

On his transfer to Olympiakos: “I am very happy to have signed for this great club, the best in Greece, which has so many fans. I am very happy to be here.”

On his reaction when he learned of Olympiakos’ interest: “When I was informed about the interest of Olympiakos, we spoke with two of my friends who have played here, Hernani and Bruma. They told me it’s a big club, a big city, with great fans. I’m honestly very happy to be here.”

For Olympiakos: “Olympiacos is a very big club, with a very long history. As I said before, it is the biggest club in Greece and I am very proud to be here.”

For its racing characteristics: “I think I’m a football player who wins a lot of duels. I can also contribute to winning the ball and pass it on to my teammates.”

For the many compatriots who will find Olympiakos: “There are quite a few Portuguese here. Some of them I already know, like Gelson, Pontense and Andre. I also know Ibora, with whom we played together last year. That way, I think it will be much easier to adapt.”
