Convinced that Panathinaikos can win tonight’s derby with Olympiacos, Fatih Terim appeared in his statements on Cosmote TV’s “Pre Game” show.

The Turkish coach of the “clover” spoke about the “eternal” derby, clarifying that the Cup match with Atromitos is a thing of the past, since a very important match for the championship follows.

Among other things, Fatih Terimhe also referred to the club’s birthday yesterday, but also to the absences for which he reiterated that they are never excuses and closed, with a reference to the points that will decide the derby.

Analytically:

“In the last game, we came in with a one-goal deficit from the first game, but we played very well and even though we were playing away from home, we got the win we wanted.

But the Cup match is a thing of the past, we qualified for the next phase and we are happy about that. But now we have before us a match against Olympiakos for the championship, which is very important. Our mind is there, we are playing at home, we want to win and do better next time”first reported and continued:

“Yesterday Panathinaikos completed 116 years of life and today in the match against Olympiakos which we will win, I hope we can all celebrate it together.

In this game too there are absences, but we don’t use it for this particular match. We know the opponent very well, we have played against them and we know them. We respect Olympiakos, but the most important thing is how we will play and how we will operate on the pitch, so that we can reach victory.”.
