The possible opponents of the National Team in the Nations League 2024-25 are, in essence, predetermined, based on the separation made by UEFA per league according to the standings of the previous competition.
Greece is in the 4th capacity group of League B and will not be able to be drawn with National Teams that are in the same group, namely Georgia, Turkey and Kazakhstan. Therefore, the possible opponents of the national team are the teams that make up groups 1, 2 and 3 in League B.

The 54 National Teams, which take part in the group stage of the competition, have been divided into 4 categories according to their results in the UEFA Nations League 2022-23. The teams were then divided into groups again based on their ranking in the 2022–23 UEFA Nations League.
From the draw of the 3 categories (League A, B and C) four groups of four teams each will emerge in each. Each team will play six matches in their group, one home and one away against the other 3 teams in the group.
The League D draw will produce two groups of three teams each. Each team will play four matches in their group, one at home and one away against the other two countries in the group.

League C: Romania, Sweden, Armenia, Luxembourg, Azerbaijan, Kosovo, Bulgaria, Faroe Islands, North Macedonia, Slovakia, Northern Ireland, Cyprus, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania or Gibraltar.
League D: Lithuania or Gibraltar, Moldova, Malta Andorra, San Marino, Liechtenstein.
*The Lithuania-Gibraltar match for the Nations League 2022/23 play-offs is pending. The winner of the match, which will be played next March, will join League C and the loser will head League D.
**By decision of the UEFA Executive Committee, Armenia and Azerbaijan cannot be drawn in the same group.
***Due to distance, Kazakhstan can only be drawn in the same group as one of the following teams: England, Iceland, Ireland and Wales.
Changes and useful information for the UEFA Nations League 2024-25
The 2024-2025 UEFA Nations League is being expanded with an additional knockout round to be held in March 2025.
League A group winners and runners-up will participate in home and away quarter-finals, with the winners of these qualifying for the competition’s Final Four.

The four group winners in League B and League C as well as the two group winners in League D are automatically promoted to Divisions A, B and C respectively.
League A’s third-placed teams and League B’s runners-up, as well as League B’s third-placed teams and League C’s runners-up, will play double legs (home and away) for their promotion and relegation.
There will also be play off matches between the two best fourth teams from League C and the two runners-up from League D.
