Unthinkable blunder at Blackburn: They didn’t declare a player in time because… they clicked the wrong option!

We have heard many times about transfers that did not materialize because they were not declared in time and the case of his movement Duncan McGuire in Blackburn from Orlando City came to add to the list!

The blunder in question is, of course, quite a bit more special, as according to Athletic reporter Tom Bogert, the job went down in a… wrong click!

Ultimately, and with Sheffield Wednesday firmly in the running, Blackburn went ahead with a loan with an option to buy rather than a purchase as originally agreed, thanks to the money raised from the sale of Wharton to Crystal Palace.
