The Kansas City Chiefs they won the championship in the NFL beating the San Fransisco 49ers 25-22.
THE George Karlavitisthe 22-year-old Greek defensive end, managed in his second season in the league to celebrate again in the Super Bowl, making history.
The 49ers went 0-10, the Chiefs went ahead 13-10 in the third quarter and the game went into overtime at 19-19. At the break, Karlavitis appeared to have injured his hand – with the score tied at 16-16 – but continued to fight.
In overtime, the 49ers scored on Moody to take a 19-22 lead. The Chiefs, however, in the last seconds of overtime with a terrific pass from Mahomes to Hardman in the end zone made it 25-22 and were crowned champions for the second year in a row. Karlautis celebrated with the Greek flag draped over his shoulders.
The victory was celebrated strongly by the Taylor Swift, who traveled from Japan (where she was on tour) to be by her partner, Travis Kelce (or… Kelsey), who had a tense moment with his coach. By her side was her friend, actress and wife of Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively.
Usher offered his own special color at halftime of the match with a unique show.
