The England manager Gareth Southgate is considering calling up Manchester United’s young defensive midfielder immediately, Kobe Mainu.
The 18-year-old has fully earned his trust Ten Haag and is continuously in the basic formation of his team. His excellent performances were immediately noticed by the federal technicians of the countries he can represent.
Mainos’ parents are originally from Ghana and according to reports the people of the African country reached out to the footballer’s side. The Three Lions’ response looks set to be immediate, with Southgate yes seriously considering a call-up to the men’s national team, for the March friendlies and the summer Euros.
The final selections of the English coach will be announced on March 14 and from the side of the federation it is emphasized that the footballer will choose the European country.
Mainu has played, in the past, with all the minor national teams of England, however the origin of his parents gives him the right to choose Ghana as well. The young man maintains great relationships with both countries and it looks like he will be under pressure from both sides regarding his final decision.
