Manu Garthia: “I hope the year ends with the Cup, we want it more than anything else”

On whether he is in love with the ball: “The truth is that I really missed the action, football and competing. Every day I feel better, the pain in my knee still hasn’t left me, which is very normal. I’m still not at 100%, but I’m enjoying being back and very soon I believe I’ll be where I want to be.”

For the league and whether the Cup has to wait: “It may seem that we are only thinking about the Cup and the final, but we have important and difficult games ahead of us for the championship. We need to think and focus on them. We have shown as a team that we can beat any opponent, because we have a big roster. Our problem is that in the short games we have an issue, because we lost a lot of points, but I want to believe that afterwards we will recover the lost points, because we are also interested in the championship to finish as high as possible”.

On what his dream is at the end of the season: “You know my answer. I hope the year ends with winning the Cup, because it is a goal we want more than anything else, and so do our fans. We want to reach the final and when we get there we’ll see how it goes.”
