Debut Della with… cakes in Panserraikos and a deep breath for OFI!

by

The new era with Traiano Della on the bench started in the best possible way for him OFI, which swept Panserraikos 4-0 in “Th. Vardinogiannis” and moved away from the danger zone of the Stoiximan Super League!

The Cretans cleaned up the match with an explosive quarter between 23′ and 33′, with Iseka to find the net twice, while o Baku finished the game with a goal and two assists.

At +7 more than the last pair of the standings, OFI, which is tied with the losers and Atromitos.

In the coach’s mind

Formation 4-2-3-1 chose the Traianos Dellas, who picked out Bowman under the rafters. Larson, Vouros, Lambropoulos and Thorarinson formed the defensive four, with Gagegos-Bakic in the center and Riera, Toral, Baku behind Iseka.

With 4-2-3-1 he also walked Pablo Garcia. Hovan was in goal with Diamanti, Thymiani, Bergström and Deligiannidis in defense and Moreira-Ouendraogo in midfield. Mourgos, Warda and Tomas were the trio behind the forward, where Aleksic found himself.

The match

The first 20 minutes were like… not happening, with the guests looking more appetizing but a worthy phase was not recorded. In the 21st minute, a header by Diamantis from the left passed parallel to the home goal, however, two minutes later everything changed abruptly.

Iseka and Baku they played the 1-2 from the right, with the Belgian beating Hovan in the quarter-finals, opening the scoring for the hosts in their first good moment!

This development boosted the morale of the Della players, who managed to reach a second goal in the 29th minute. Lambropoulos is the scorer this timewho poked the ball into the net from close range following Moreira’s backward header for a corner.

The pitch had started to… descend and in the 33rd minute, the quarter-hour ended for OFI, with Toral-Baku combining flawlessly and the second going to Iseka, who pushed the ball into the net before an empty net for 3-0!

A missed shot by Toral in the 41st minute was the last good phase in the first half, which was painted… black and white.

Apparently disappointed by what he saw in the first part, Garcia did four changes at the break and pushed his team into the second half stronger.

The initiative of the moves came, but not the goal, with Ward’s foul going wide (50′), while Tomas (56′) and Aleksic (59′) were off target. In the 64th minute, Bowman stopped Staikos’ long shot.

Finally, the goal came from the side of Cretans, who first… warned with Felipe’s misguided attempt (74′) and then reached the 4-0 with an excellent finish by Baku in the 79th minutewhich shaped the final result – as his long-range effort in stoppage time did not trouble the opposition keeper, nor did Woolery’s.

MVP: Aaron Leya Iseka and Makana Baku, however we will give it to the second one. Terrible match from the German winger, who after serving two goals, he also scored one to shape the final result.

The… whistle: Match without many problems for him Matsukawho, after consultation with the VAR, decided not to give anything to the fall of Hadjistravos in the OFI area at the start of the second half.
