Manchester United: Ratcliffe completes takeover of 27.7%


The petrochemical billionaire, Sir Jim Ratcliffecompleted her purchase of 27.7% of the shares her Manchester United through the INEOS group, enabling it to take control of football operations from the owning family Glazer.

THE Sir Jim he said becoming a co-owner was “a great honor and comes with a great responsibility”.

“This marks the completion of the transaction, but only the beginning of our journey to return Manchester United to the top of English, European and world football, with working class facilities for our fans. Work to achieve these goals will accelerate from today”he added in detail.

As stated in the club’s official press release, Ratcliffe has invested 200 million pounds and until December 31, 2024 it will still put 100 million for investments in “Old Trafford”.
