“Punishment” and in Seville for Real Sociedad!

by

Her return to victory was celebrated by Seville even taking a great victory (3-2) welcoming her Real Sociedad for the 27th matchday of La Liga.

The Andalusians were better in the game, taking advantage of the fact that lately the Basques’ minds are mainly on Paris Saint Germain, which they host on Tuesday (5/3, 22:00) in the second leg for the “16” of the Champions League (they lost 2-0 in Paris). After all, in midweek, Imanol Alguathil’s team was also eliminated at home by Mallorca in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey.

That’s how Real Sociedad got to know her their third loss in their last four league games and, now in 7th place, it gives 6th Betis the chance to escape further (the Andalusians are at +2, but they have a difficult task against Atlético in the “Wanda Metropolitano”). On the other hand, Sevilla rose to 14th place and to +9 from the relegation zone.

In the competitive part now, the hosts quickly laid a solid foundation for the “three points” thanks to two… back to back goals from their goaltender, Youssef En Nesiriin the 11′ and to 13′.

The visitors responded to the delays in the first part (45’+5′) with his penalty kick Andre Silva for 2-1, however at 66′ The Ramos gave his team a two-goal lead again (3-1). His direct free kick Hinge in the 90’+2′ was successful making it 3-2, but without Sociedad managing to equalize in the remaining minutes.
