THE Prometheus played defense for seminary and snapped the 4-game hitting streak that was being run by Mars in the championship, as a result of which he won (70-57) and became the boss again in the battle for the top four.

The coach of Patrina, Ilias Papatheodorouexpressed his satisfaction with how his team stuck to the plan, while stating that he was satisfied with the way his players limited the Vasilis Toliopoulos.

In detail what Prometheus’ coach said:

For the victory over Mars: “It was a pivotal game for us. We had good energy and concentration in our defense, we kept Aris pretty low. Both teams had a relatively good defensive plan which was executed. This, combined with the nervousness of the stoppage and lack of rhythm, led to them making more mistakes and fewer assists.

We controlled the pace from start to finish, we were strong when we had to in the comeback of Aris who are a team with character. But we want to find a better rhythm for the next games. I thank the people who came and I wish good luck to Aris in the crucial match on Wednesday”.

To deal with Toliopoulos: “It was among our goals to limit Toliopoulos who is in excellent condition. We did a good job and it was an important part to be able to control the game and win it.”
