by

The coach of AEK Betsson, Ilias Zourosreported episode outside the locker room of his team after the end of the match against PAOK in “Palataki”, at the press conference.

“It’s sad that incidents happen outside our locker room. I believe it is wrong, because we have not given rights as a group. This is not allowed”the experienced technician said in detail, without giving specific information about what happened.

It is worth noting that shortly before the end of the match, AEK Betsson’s trainer, Tsampis Armywho was kicked out at the end, after a heated argument with Stavros Schiza (who had committed a hard foul on Knight), had an argument with the PAOK forward and the coolers had to intervene, which may be related to the said episode reported by Zouros.

In detail what he said:

About the game: “Congratulations to my players and partners. The team was very focused. Everyone worked hard on tactics. I’m happy with the win, especially at the moment we’re in. Every win counts and especially against PAOK, it counts doubly in view of the Play ins. Defense is a matter of disposition first and concentration second. We made some mistakes regularly in the first half, but in the second half we were more focused. I think it’s a very legitimate and correct victory in a difficult venue.”

For the episodes: “It’s sad that incidents happen outside our locker room. I believe it is wrong, because we have not given rights as a group. This is not allowed. Good luck to PAOK and we are getting ready for Tuesday’s game.”

For the crucial 3-pointers: “We went more open, with two 4s. We would have had trouble rebounding, but we would have been comfortable playing better defense. Hollins was very good, although I don’t usually talk about players, but with his composure and performance he helped us to go one step further. Today he gave something more. I wish in every game we have more protagonists and concede less points.”

For the episode you mentioned above: “When the match was over, I apologized for my behavior. The sequel was wrong. I wish PAOK the best.”
