Celtic are perfect, they lost to Hearts and stayed in second place!

by

She proved to be an ideal handmaiden Celtic in Tyneside, with Hearts to take full advantage of it by reaching victory with 2-0for the 29th matchday of the Scottish Premiership.

The Catholics had their first big chance to open the scoring in the 13th minute, but Clark made an impressive save from Ida’s penalty kick. As if that wasn’t enough, in fact, three minutes later, they were down a player too, due to Hun-Yun being sent off with a straight red card with the intervention of VAR!

The home side, on the other hand, proved more accurate in their own case with a penalty, with Grant opening the scoring in the 43rd minute. While they saw Shankland’s beautiful goal just before the break disallowed for offside…

Finally, Hearts scored a second goal, in the 56th minute, with the same player who scored the first player in the Premiership era to score 20 goals in two consecutive seasons.

Thus, the Edinburgh team drew 2X2 against Celtic, who, with this defeat, remained second and -2 behind leaders Rangers, who were also defeated yesterday by Motherwell.

With the two “eternal” rivals in Scotland losing at the same time on the same matchday for the first time since February 3, 2018!
