Men’s Cup Final 4: Draconian security measures

Strict and multiple controlsphysical, in vaccination certificates and identity cards, will be made when the public arrives at tomorrow’s semifinals Men’s Cup Final Fourwhich will take place in “Dyo Aorakia” of Heraklion (18/2).

The EEC announced the security measures which will be in force in view of the games Prometheus-Panathinaikos (17:00) and Olympiakos-AEK (20:00).

The institution of the Men’s Final 4 Cup returns after 18 years. In view of the semifinal matches on Friday, February 18, at the New Indoor Gym of Heraklion (“Two Aorakia”), the gates of the stadium will open at 14:30 for the attendance of the public.

When spectators arrive, there will be strict checks on tickets, identity cards, valid vaccination or illness certificates, as well as physical checks, both outdoors and before entering the stadium. In case a fan does not have a valid vaccination or disease certificate, he will not be allowed to enter the facility. Confirmation of a negative rapid test, PCR or self-test result in adults will not be accepted.

Regarding the entry of underage fans, for those belonging to the age group 13-17 years, entry will be allowed ONLY with the confirmation of negative control with PCR test within seventy two (72) hours or rapid test within forty eight (48) hours before of conducting their race. For those 12 years and under, they are allowed to enter with a negative self-test that has been conducted on the day of the race.

Fans are required to arrive at the stadium at least one hour before the start of the games to avoid overcrowding, while at the entrance and during their stay on the field must wear a protective mask and keep a distance of at least one and a half meters.

The stadium area will be videotaped by a closed security circuit, both inside and around.
