According to the police investigation, the 33-year-old, in December 2021 in the area of Nikopolis, acting together with his accomplice, broke into a supermarket with the “rififi” method and removed two safes, while he also broke into a third safe, taking all the money amount of approximately (100,000) euros, a laptop and various documents.
As part of a coordinated operation carried out on 15-02-2022 by police officers of the above Service, with the assistance of police officers of the Crime Prevention and Suppression Department, a search was carried out at the 33-year-old’s home, during which a pistol and four cartridges were confiscated. possessed illegally.
In addition, a decision of the Single-Member Criminal Court of Thessaloniki was pending against him, imposing a prison sentence of four years for the crime of distinguished theft cases under which he was arrested.
The arrested person will be taken to the competent judicial authorities, while his involvement in other similar acts is being investigated.
