Starring Giorgos Giakoumakiswho scored three times in 19 minutes, Atlanta United dominated the New England Revolution 4-1 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, for the 2nd matchday in MLS.
The Greek striker, who had failed to find the back of the net in the league opener in the US in a 1-0 loss against Columbus Crew, managed to score his first hat-trick on the other side of the Atlantic.
The international striker reached another achievement: has scored 20 regular-season goals in less than 2,000 minutes, just the 5th player in MLS history to reach the feat.
