Three years later:
· No Greek referee was deemed fit to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
· In the Euroleague – with the exception of Yiannis Foufis who has NOT participated in domestic matches for years – the Greek referees rarely get a definition.
· In BCL we have only one representative, G. Poursanidis, with even fewer definitions than ever.
· For the first time in history, there were cases of referees, who were checked for illegal acts outside the borders, one of the very close associates of the President today.
· The Chr. Christodoulou, without any explanation from anyone, resigned or was forced to resign, at the beginning of his only 2nd year of cooperation with the EEC and B. Liolios.
· N. Pitsilkas, who replaced him, also disappeared without explanation.
· The KED today has five members and, continuing the tactics of his predecessor, V. Liolios has also appointed as members of the KED non-active referees who do not meet the conditions of the Sports Law regarding their selection criteria.
· Matches of the association from which V. Liolios comes are directed by certain referees.
· Referees, like G. Poursanidis, are “punished” with the “democratic” concept of family responsibility because the President, his brother Kostas, does not like him.
· His “friends”, with a special past, appear as the ones who move the strings in the Greek Arbitration.
Top referees of the past, prominently the iconic President of ODKE Kostas Dimos, figure of the world refereeing and member of the FIBA ​​Hall of Fame, often frequently express their concern in a strong way about the path that Greek refereeing has taken in the years of V. Liolios .
