His federation Cameroon announced that not one, not two, but 62 football players they were “cut” by their country’s league teams, as they had stated false ages.
So these 62 footballers were expelled for “dual identity”, while among them is Wilfrid Nathan Duala, who plays for Victoria United of the A-League. This person had stated that he was 17 years old something which is ultimately not true, while he was also called up to Cameroon’s squad for the recently held Africa Cup of Nations.
In addition, the Samuel Eto’o legendary soccer player and now the president of the Cameroonian federation, is accused of physical threats, incitement to violence, and match-fixing.
At the same time, he is in trouble through the courts and in other matters, such as non-payment of alimony.
