Youth League: Nantes last obstacle for Olympiakos before the… final!

THE Nantes on the way to Olympiakos in the final-4 of the Youth League!

The “canaries” saw everything against the Copenhagenbut they took advantage of the fact that they were playing with one player for more than one half, they made a great comeback and the final 3-3 sent the match to penalties. Where the French were calmer and with the guardian-angel of their goalkeeper, Mambon, prevailed 5-4 and advanced to the semi-finals of the competition.

The game was enjoyable throughout its duration. THE Nantes took the lead in just the 12th minute through Assoumani, but the Danes’ response was immediate as Hoylund leveled with a penalty six minutes later.
