For one more year, PAE Olympiacos together with the Municipality of Piraeus organized the Clean Monday event for the citizens of the city and beyond, on the beach of Freattidas. As every year, this year too, people of the “red and white” distributed thousands of meals with Lenten dishes, offered by the president of PAE Olympiacos, Mr. Vangelis Marinakis.
Olympiacos was represented at this beautiful event by the Municipality of Piraeus, represented by Depy Koxenoglou and Nikos Gavalas, with the CSR director of PAE Olympiacos, Nikos Gavalas, stating:
“We are in Freattyda in this very nice spot of the Municipality of Piraeus and in this nice event organized by the Municipality of Piraeus, in collaboration with PAE Olympiacos and the practical support of our president Mr. Vangelis Marinakis. The citizens of Piraeus and beyond have the opportunity to spend a beautiful day here by the sea.
We don’t need to say more on this day, but I would like to convey the wishes and greetings of our president, Mr. Vangelis Marinakis, and to wish a happy Lent, a happy new year and good health.”
Of course, for one more day of Clean Monday, the sky of Piraeus was “filled” with kites that carried the emblem of Olympiakos, while those who were in Freattyda had the opportunity to spend this beautiful day to the sound of traditional songs, while at the same time the celebration the Philharmonic Wind Orchestra of the Municipality of Piraeus also performed.
