They play really strong volley, they press with the serve, they have very good players, who individually can make the difference. However, in the first two sets we played amazing volley, without mistakes, and that was the key to the game.
In the third set, we had a problem with the reception, because after they took a 2-3 point difference, they played more freely from the service line and created a problem for us. In the fourth set the idea was to start well, not to give the opponent a chance to press with the serve. Our reception was very good, all phases of our game were very good, especially our blocking, as after 20 we made three amazing blocks on Hernandez, which is important against such a player.
We deserved a win in the series, we played well in the first game, we had our chances, in the second game in Thessaloniki we played well in two sets, in two sets we didn’t, but now we are here. Panathinaikos is of course the favorite, but we showed our quality, and now let’s play volleyball!”.
