NBA: Rising Stars on Barry’s team

The first Rising Stars in their new form ended up with Rick Barry’s team. She prevailed 25-20 over Azaya Thomas’s team in the grand final.

Azaya’s team had the lead with 18-12 but that of Bari with a series of 8-0 took the “head” in the score and finally the victory with Cunningham achieving a three-pointer and Wagner a shot.

To advance to the grand final, both teams had to beat the other two in the semifinals. Azaya’s team prevailed 50-49 over Worthy and Barry’s 50-48 over Peyton.

The regulation stipulated that the qualification will be taken by the team that will reach the first 50 points.
