THE fan violence is a phenomenon closely related to sportwith many countries facing many problems which often cost human lives.
One of these countries is Serbiawhich has seen Belgrade turn into a “war zone” many times during local derbies such as Red Star-Partisanbut also in many other circumstances.
THE They were partisansfor its part, wanting to “cleanse” the “Stark Arena” of such phenomena, issued a statement through which it announced its decision to take legal action against employees who allow for fans to enter the stadium without a ticketbut also according to what they supply fake tickets.
Partizan’s announcement in detail:
“Based on the information gathered, the club will file criminal charges against people who allowed other people to enter the stadium without tickets, as well as people involved in the production and sale of fake tickets, people involved in illegal resale of tickets, as well as persons involved in the illegal production and marketing of goods bearing the Partizan logo and features.
Although the regulations strictly prohibit the entry of spectators without tickets, there are indications that this has been breached by people working at Partisan, Stark Arena, as well as members of private and public security agencies.
This, like the other listed acts for which there is evidence, is punishable to the letter of the law and above all represents disrespect to the many fans who honestly pay for their tickets.
This year alone, Partizan paid around 1.5 million euros in taxes to the Serbian state based on ticket revenue and is proud of the fact that the revenue generated (s. from tickets) is an important source of funding for the team.
With the rule that every ticket has its price and must be paid, first of all we show respect to the players on the field and lastly to ourselves. Partizan will not let this established system collapse.”
