Details of what will apply to the capacity of open and closed stadiums became known after the publication of part of ΚΥΑ referring to specific issues.
It is mentioned, among other things, the increase of the allowed presence of spectators, both open and closed, to 50% of the total capacity of the stadiums, for vaccinated or sick people in the last quarter.
Thus, with the JMC (Government Gazette B ‘766, 18/02/2022) that is valid from today, it is allowed:
-the presence of spectators in individual and team sports, in open and closed sports facilities, with fullness up to 50% of capacity,
-the presence of spectators in training of individual and team amateur sports, in open and closed sports facilities, with fullness up to 50% of the capacity.
It states in detail:
“The presence of spectators in individual and team sports matches, in open and sports facilities, with a fullness of up to 50% of capacity is allowed:
– The possibility of attendance of spectators exists exclusively for fully vaccinated or sick spectators during the last quarter, according to par. 2.3 of article 9 and up to five percent 5% of the permissible number of spectators for unvaccinated and non-sick minors. Minors enter with a certificate of negative diagnostic test (pcr or rapid test) according to paragraphs 2 and 3 of article 9, or with a statement of negative self-diagnostic self test that has been performed on the day of the race.
– The control is done at the entrances of the sports facilities using the digital identification platform for vaccination certificates, pcr and rapid test and where possible, a corresponding control is performed during the issuance of the electronic ticket.
“The use of a mask is mandatory throughout the stay on the field.”
