Raul Bravo was involved with “Oikos” and the match-fixing scandal in 2019. The former defender of Real Madrid, Olympiakos and Ari had been called to testify together with his colleague, Carlos Aranda, on the case and a Spanish court decided player to be remanded in custody.
The judge concluded that the conversations in which those allegedly involved talked about payments to the footballers were insufficient and dismissed the case. Thus, the court of Huesca definitively closed the “Oikos” case and acquitted all those involved.
“The ‘Oikos’ case has been debunked. The police unofficially told me at the time that the case was dead. They damaged my life and tarnished his name, causing damage to my family and friends. Without proof and with some fabricated clues. For what they did against a citizen, now I get word that they are closing the case. Thanks for mixing me up,” was the comment of Borja Fernandez, who was one of the people involved in the case.
