El Arabi: “There is no other option for Olympiakos, we have to beat AEK”

His… stigma ahead of Sunday’s derby with AEK in New Philadelphia was given by Youssef El Arabiaccording to which the win constitutes one way for Olympic!

At the same time, speaking to the pay TV camera, the Moroccan centre-forward of the “red and whites” also referred to the benefits of his team, in case they get the “three points”, while he spoke with flattering words and for Jose Luis Mendiliber

In detail what El Arabi said to COSMOTE TV:

To prepare during the break: “I think this 15-day break did us a lot of good. After such a triumph, after such a great victory it was good for us because some of us found time to rest and some to work. Some players left for their national teams, but the rest of us worked very well with our coach and now we are ready to return to action. We have a very important game ahead of us against AEK. The leader of the leaderboard and a contender for the title. We have five points difference and it is very important for us to play well and win the game.”

About what Olympiacos should do: “We have to win. Let’s go there determined to win. There is no other choice. For us it is a final. We have to win.”

For racing stability: “That’s why we say that this interruption did us a lot of good. Because many of our players were not used to playing every three days and they needed that rest. I think this was a good opportunity for us to find our stability. We have entered the final stretch, we are in the playoffs and it is very important for us to continue with victories to chase our goals.”

For Mediliber: “It is true that the coach is very experienced and has brought us a lot of knowledge. He has achieved important things both in Europe and in Spain, especially last year when he won a European title. He has taught us that there are two different ways of thinking when it comes to the league and Europe. Specifically for the playoffs it is very important to win the next four games. At this moment we have the opportunity to reduce our distance from AEK to two points and if we succeed then things start again for us and for them”.

On whether he is considering visiting the same stadium again in the season finale: “Of course I have thought about it. I am very ambitious. But at the moment I’m only thinking about AEK. We are going to play in a very warm venue and we have to win.”
