Something like that Dallas “caught” the Pelicans in 5th place in the Western Region, with 8 matches remaining for each team.

Jabari Smith scored 28 points and Aaron Holliday added 16, but Jaylen Green had just 12 on 5-of-15 shooting for playoff contending Houston.

In New York, Cy Gilgeous-Alexander made a decisive basket with 2.6 minutes left, sending Oklahoma to the playoffs for the first time since 2020 with a victory (113-112). In Brooklyn, LeBron James had one of his best scoring nights on 9/10 three-point range and scored 40 points to lead the Lakers to a 116-104 win over the Nets. In fact, he experienced the apotheosis of the audience at the Barclays Center.

Somehow Los Angeles has won 5 of its last 6 games and looks capable of fighting for a better position ahead of the NBA play-in process. “Double” was, for his part, Anthony Davis who had 24 points and 14 rebounds, with Rui Hachimura also doing a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

In San Antonio, Steph Curry had 33 points to lead the Warriors to a 113-117 victory over the Spurs, which was Golden State’s 4th straight against the Spurs. On the other hand, Victor Webaniyama had 32 points and 9 rebounds and due to a foul he did not manage to reach another double-double. Green finished the game with 21 points and 11 rebounds and Thompson finished with 13 points.
