Kostas Christofidelis is the new coach of the Men’s National Volleyball Team. EOPE announced the start of its cooperation with the Greek coach, in order to lead the representative team to the finals of the 2025 European Championship.
The 47-year-old technician has won 20 domestic titles as a player, while he made his debut in the men’s national team as an assistant to Dante Bonifande in 2022, while he is claiming fifth place in the men’s Volley League with Kifissia.

“The Hellenic Volleyball Federation announces the start of cooperation with Kostas Christofidelis for the technical leadership of the National Men’s Volleyball Team.
Following the decision of the Board of Directors, the Kavaliotis coach will lead the representative team to the qualifiers of the European Championship.
Kostas Christofidelis was born on June 26, 1977 in Kavala. As an athlete, he won 11 championship titles and 9 Cup titles and, together with Giorgos Dragovics, are the most successful of the institution. Peak moment with the National team as an athlete was the fifth place at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004.
He started his coaching career in 2019 from Anorthosis Cyprus. After three seasons in the Cypriot league, in the summer of 2022 he took over the technical leadership of Kifissia, which led to its ‘maiden’ participation in the European Cups.
In the 2023-24 season, he renewed with A.O.P. Kifissias and claims again the fifth place in the men’s Volley League.
Kostas Christofidelis coached the men’s national team in 2022, when, together with Giorgos Stefanos, they took over as assistants of the Italian coach, Dante Bonifande, with the highlight being the qualification and participation of the national team in the 2023 European Championship”.
