Dimos Dikoudis presented the book he never read

The essence of wisdom brought to him by time and experiences from the field of basketball is shared by Municipality of Dikoudis. His first book, titled “All Around”was presented in Syntagma bookstore by MVPublications and this is not yet another self-referential book, but more of one handbookwhich aims to help young children who are taking their first steps in basketball, as well as parents in order to be helpers by their side and not brakes.

“I mention that it’s the book I never read because it contains things I wish someone had told me when I was starting out. It aims to help young athletes to be more consistent and useful, not only for their team but also for societyDimos Dikoudis emphasized at the event, which took place on Tuesday afternoon in a room full of basketball fans and more.

“Reading Dimos’s book I appreciated him even more. From the first moment I met him, I understood that he is a person who looks straight ahead, has morals and principles, rare things these days. That is why it is happiness for us to have him in the federation and in such an important position, as that of national team manager“, said the president of the EEC, Vangelis Liolios.

THE Kostas Tsartsarisa companion of Dimos Dikoudis for many years in the National team and Panathinaikos, now also in EEC (as manager of the development program), said: “Many of the pages of the book I think I could have written myself. We have many shared experiences with the Municipality and I am sure that what he mentions is very useful for every young kid who plays basketball, as well as his environment».

The sports psychologist, Glyceria Skourawho was also a scientific collaborator of Dimos Dikoudis during the writing of the book, referred to the importance of the mental health of athletes, both budding and those who have arrived, but also those who end their career after a career of years and find it difficult to adapt to the next day’s data.

The event was attended by the former federal coach Dimitris Itoudis, the former teammate of Dimos Dikoudis in the National team Theodoris Papaloukas, the new general manager of ESAKE, Efthymis Rentzias, the captain of Panioni Dimitris Verginis, the general manager of EEC Dinos Sverkounos, the two legends of women’s basketball and partners of the federation, Evina Maltsi and Annie Konstantinidou, the general director of PSAK Kostas Alexandridis, the coach of the National Youth Men’s National Team Kostas Papadopoulos, as well as the author’s wife and children.
