Regarding my alleged arrest after a lawsuit filed against me by the well-known Gargalas, I note the following:
It is the inalienable right of every citizen to file a lawsuit for whatever reason he deems necessary, assuming of course the corresponding responsibilities. However, it is also a basic obligation of the Prosecution Authorities to evaluate and judge the seriousness of each lawsuit, before proceeding with any procedure.
In my case there is no issue of arrest. I came to the Police Station voluntarily, signed and left. Besides, the autoforo procedure is not observed for Mayors.
Those who make a living by the “profession” of distortion and misinformation can look up the relevant service officer’s report and be informed, however uncomfortable they may be, of the truth.
