The match in Kaisariani between Kifissia and Panaitolikos, gathers interest from today’s matches of the 4th matchday of its playouts Stoiximan Super League.
The Northern Suburbs team has 25 pointsthe Agriniotes they have 24 and the loser, possibly, to be close to relegation.
Later, at 17:30 Volos is looking for another victory stay against Atromitos, in a match that will take place behind closed doors in Panthsessalikos, while at 19:00 the bottom team PAS hosts Asteras Tripoli.
The most indifferent match, perhaps, is the one between Panserraikos and OFI.
PANSERRAIKOS – OFI
In the regular season of the championship, each team won at home, with Panserraikos winning 2-1 in Serres for the First Round and OFI winning 4-0 in Heraklion for the Second Round.
The two teams last met for the Super League in the 2008-09 season, where OFI won 2-1 in Serres and Heraklion’s game ended in a 0-0 draw.
The Cretan team maintains a very good tradition against Panserraikos, since in the total of 16 meetings that have taken place between them with the home team of Serres, they have 6 wins and 6 draws, while Panserraikos managed to prevail in five matches.
The most frequent result between the two teams is a 1-1 draw, which has occurred in four of their games, followed by OFI’s 1-0 win. The four victories of Panserraikos have been scored with three different scores, two with 1-0 and 2-1 and one with 3-1.
VOLOS – FEARLESS
After four consecutive matches without defeat against Atromitos at home and away, Volos lost to the Peristeri team in Magnesia for the Second Round of the championship.
Now in the matches that have been held with Volos at home, there is absolute balance, since the two teams have three wins each and there has also been a draw with 1-1. There is not a game without a goal in these seven that have been played in Magnesia, while in all three victories of Atromitos there are goals from both teams. The two are 3-2 and the last one 2-1.
Volos, on the other hand, only conceded a goal in one of its three victories, 2-1 on February 18, 2023, while its other two victories are 1-0 and 3-0.
Two matches have been played against each other in Volos for the Super League Playouts process and in the first one Atromitos won 3-2 (2019-20), while in 2021-22 they drew 1-1. In 2020-21 their match for the Super League Playouts took place in Peristeri and Atromitos won 1-0.
PAS YIANNINA – ASTERAS TRIPOLIS
PAS Ioannina has three wins and two draws in its last five home and away matches with Asteras Tripoli. The team from Epirus has won the three games at home, for the regular duration of last year (1-0) and this year’s championship (2-1), but also for last year’s Super League Playouts (1-0).
PAS Ioannina this season in the regular season had just two wins at home and one of them was against Asteras Tripoli, while the other was in the league premiere against Kifissia (3-0).
For the Super League Playouts they have met just once in their history, on May 6, 2023 with the Ioannina team winning 1-0.
In total, at the Super League level, they have met 29 times in both venues, with PAS having 9 wins, Asteras Tripoli 10 and another ten of their encounters have ended in a draw.
KIFISIA – PANAITOLIKOS
The two teams met for the last game of the championship at the stadium of Kaisariani and were drawn 2-2. In the first round, Panaitolikos won 3-0 in Agrinio.
The 2-2 draw with Panaitolikos was the third in a row for the Kifissia team, after the 1-1 draw with Panathinaikos at Alexandra Avenue and the 3-3 draw with Asteras in Tripoli. This was followed by a draw with OFI for the 1st matchday of the Super League Playouts, while Kifisia in its last six games has only been defeated in Volos by the local team by 4-1.
Panaitolikos prevailed 3-0 against Panserraikos for the 1st game of the Super League Playouts, while then they drew 1-1 in Ioannina and in the 3rd game they were defeated by Volos at home. This season the Agrinio team did not score an away win and had five draws and eight defeats in 13 matches.
This is only the third meeting between them, since they have not co-existed in any other category.
