10 years Greek Maritime Golf Event in Costa Navarino on September 5-8

The premier golf tournament for the shipping community Greek Maritime Golf Event, returns for her 10^the anniversary year of, renewing his annual appointment with Greek and global shipping, on 5-8 September 2024, in Costa Navarinoin Messinia.

The Greek Maritime Golf Event is celebrating its 10 years in the best way, as it managed to stand out for another year in the institution of Sports Marketing Awards 2024, as the best golf event in Greece. Specifically, it was detached 4 total awards, 1 Gold prize in the category “Corporate Sport Event“, 1 Silver in the category of individual sports and golf as well 1 Silver and 1 Bronze for its successful sponsorship collaborations with Miele Hellas at the golf courses of Costa Navarino and Glyfada.

The recognized Greek PGA golfer and organizer of the tournament with the Birdie Events, K. Competitive action in Navarino Hills

The Greek Maritime Golf Event will gather again this year more than 80 top shipping executives who will form groups of four. Golfers will have the opportunity to compete on its courses Costa Navarino, to a destination located at Top 10 of the list of “Top 100 World Resorts“ in the world and which has received its distinction “World’s Best Golf Venue” at World Golf Awards 2023. The matches will be played on the two signature 18-hole courses designed by two-time Masters champion and Ryder Cup legend Jose Maria Olazabal in Navarino Hills, in an idyllic landscape with hundreds of years old olive trees with a stunning view of the Ionian Sea, the historic bay of Navarino and the picturesque port of Pylos.

The matches

Participants will compete at team level on Friday, September 6in the match shotgun scramble in the International Olympic Academy Golf Course. Accordingly, the Saturday September 7, will take part in a fight shotgun scramble which will be held at The Hills Course.

Awards for the top performers

The teams will claim them first three places in the general ranking, while there will also be special awards for the players who will score the best performances in the special categories Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin.
