The foursome of the A1 women’s handball playoffs are out

The 18th and last matchday of A1 women’s handball ended without any surprises. Nea Ionia defeated Anagennisi Artas in the northern suburbs 45-30 in the theoretical derby of the day and left them in fourth place, with the two teams facing each other in the playoffs, while the victories of PAOK 31-27 at Panorama and AESH Pylaia in Korydallos over the trailing AOAOD 32-14 brought them respectively to the second and third place in the ranking, thus opponents in the playoffs.
