The legendary Marta retires from the Brazilian national team

THE Marta participated in five Olympic Games throughout her career and won two silver medals (2004 and 2008). She is a two-time champion of Pan American Games (2003 and 2007) and has won three times the Copa America (2003, 2010 and 2018).

She won the award for the best player in the world six times and is the top scorer in its history Brazilian nationalas well as the top scorer in World Cup history.
