Stoiximan Super League: Battle to stay at home with a gun for the three

ASTERAS TRIPOLIS-OFI

Asteras Tripoli prevailed in both matches of the regular season against OFI and without conceding a goal. In the First Round with 3-0 (14′ Bartolo, 21′ Miritello, 96′ Kaltsas) and in the Second Round with 2-0 (37′ Miritello, 55′ Rigis).

Asteras Tripolis has built a special tradition against OFI, since in the 12 matches that have been held with the home team of Arcadia, there is no dominance of the Cretans and the tally is eight wins and four draws for Asteras.

So far they have met twice for the Playouts process and the matches took place at OFI’s headquarters, where on May 8, 2022 they won 1-0 and on April 22, 2023 they drew 1-1.

In the last ten games between them in both venues, only once did both teams score, while there was also a 0-0 in which neither team found a goal.

VOLOS-PANSERRAIKOS

The two teams met for the first time in their history in a championship in this year’s Stoiximan Super League and Volos managed to remain unbeaten in the two games, after prevailing 1-0 in the First Round at home with a goal by Panagiotis Moraitis and in Serres there was draw 2-2 (50′ Thymianis, 59′ Deligiannidis – 45+2 Asechnoun, 94 Juan Garcia).

The two teams have also met for the institution of the Cup in 2019-20 and 2020-21, where Volos was not defeated in any of the three total encounters and qualified on penalties the first time and the second with a win (3- 1) in a single game that took place in Serres.

Panserraikos is undefeated in the process of the Stoiximan Super Leagaue Playouts, with three wins and two draws, while Volos suffered its first defeat the previous matchday in Heraklion with 2-1 by OFI.

KIFISIA-PAS YIANNINA

Kifisia in its maiden match in the championship of the Stoiximan Super League faced PAS Ioannina and was defeated in the city of Epirus by 4-2 for the 1st matchday. Now with the same opponent, she will play her last game of the year at home.

PAS Ioannina was the first team against which they prevailed at the stadium of Kaisariani, since the previous one had taken place in Lamia, where they had taken the first three points against Atromitos on September 1, 2023 for the 3rd matchday.

PAS Ioannina in their five matches for the Stoiximan Super League Playouts has one draw and four losses, while Kifisia won two away matches, but at home they have a draw with OFI and a loss against Panaitolikos.

There are four consecutive home wins in the matches between Panaitolikos and Atromitos in both venues, with the team of Agrini having two, where the team of Peristeri also has.

This is an exception, as they had a streak of 24 consecutive games that saw just six home wins.

In the matches that have taken place with the home team of Agrini, there is absolute balance, since Panaitolikos has five wins, the same as Atromitos, while there are also six draws.

Their favorite score is 1-1, with four of the six draws having ended with that result, while Panaitolikos has two 1-0 wins, while Atromitos has two 3-1 wins.
