Historic Kane, leads Bayern – Leipzig star “cuff” in Dortmund

by

What if he has lost the championship, at least he has Harry Kane!

The reason, of course, is for her Bayern Munichwhich prevailed 2-1 welcoming her Eintracht Frankfurt in the context of the 31st matchday of the Bundesliga, with the English forward once again the absolute protagonist!

The 30-year-old ace scored two goals and reached the 35 goals in this year’s championship. At the same time, he set a productivity record! And this is because, on the one hand, he became the first footballer to either score or provide an assist against each of the teams he faced, in his very first season in the Bundesliga! On the other hand, he has now scored against 16 of the 17 teams he has faced (Freiburg was the only one to… escape him), a feat previously only achieved by Gerd Miller (66/67, 69/70), Ailton (03/04) and Lewandowski (19/20).

Kane, then, opened the scoring at 9′by Ekitike to equalize with a very nice energy and shot from outside the area at 23′. However, the home striker made it 2-1 in the final 61′ with a penalty kick and thus the Bavarians will go with a good mentality to the first semi-final against Real Madridnext Tuesday (30/4) in Munich.

At the same time, Leipzig roll “four” (4-1) in Dortmund and indeed with overthrow. Sancho opened the scoring for the Westphalians in the 20th minute, with the hosts turning it around, scoring two goals in each half (23′ Openda, 45’+2′ Cesko, 46′ Simakan, 80′ Baumgartner).

Thus, the “bulls” kept in 4th place going to +5 from Dortmund three games before the final (surpassing also on goal difference) and – even if the Bundesliga does not get the extra ticket for next season’s Champions League – they are favorites for the exit to the “stars”. On the other hand, Edin Terzic’s team is heading to the semi-final with Paris Saint Germain (1/5)

“Double” (1-2) of overturning and with its collars Wolfsburg in the Freiburg (with ten for the home team from 64′, while they also lost a penalty after 1-1), victory (0-3) and for the Werder Bremen at its headquarters Augsburg.
