In the Deaf Football Champions League matches hosted in our country, with co-organizers of the Deaf Sports Club and the Municipality of Vari-Voulas-Vouliagmeni, PAOK Moria was crowned European champion, winning the POK final 3-0.
Third place was won by St. John’s, who beat Farsley Celtic 2-1 in extra time (1-1 draw).
Rigoutsos was the first scorer
Apart from being crowned champions, the Tripoli team had in its ranks the top scorer of the tournament, Evgenios Rigoutsos, with 5 goals, the best goalkeeper, Leonidas Koutsikos, and the most valuable player, Angelos Argyros.
The finalists POK had in their composition the best young player of the tournament, Michael Georgiadis, with the English having the best coach, Chris Burns (Farsley Celtic DFC), with the French Reims conquering the Fair Play.
