With the administration of the “canaries” proceeding today (29/04) with the signing new contract with the 23-year-old defender and to announce the agreement of the two sides.

“Giorgos Liavas, the first footballer from Aitoloakarnana who exceeded 100 appearances in the Super League with the shirt of Panaitolikos, has agreed to continue his career with our team by signing a contract until June 2026.
A child of the Panaitolikos Infrastructure Department with a rich presence in all National teams (except the Men’s National Team), he signed his first professional contract in 2018, at the age of 17 and from the first season he recorded 19 appearances in the championship. He reached the same number in the next two championships. The two (consecutive) serious injuries kept him out for more than a year and a half, but he came back strong with 15 appearances last year and 30 this year.
Despite the suggestions he had, he chose to continue wearing the jersey with Titormos on his chest and the captain’s armband that passed into his hand from an early age.”
