Olympiacos was punished in stoppage time by Barcelona in SEF!

Then, the guests reacted with a 4-0 of their own (32-29), with the same duo (Wright-Petrushev) again giving solutions to the Piraeus, for +8 (37-29), until 19′. In the last seconds, the Catalans took the offensive rebound and with a three-pointer by Kalinic, they made it 37-32 in the first half.

Slow start from Olympiakos in the second half as well, with back-to-back three-pointers putting them ahead (37-38), in the first two minutes. Walkup temporarily gave the lead to the “red and whites” (40-38), with Parker and Kalinic sending the Catalans to +3 (40-43). The answer of Piraeus came with three-pointers from Walkup and Peters, for the overtake (48-45), in the 26th minute. However, in the last minutes the “blaugrana” continued to … shoot continuously with Laprovitola and Parker and with a total of 5/6 three-pointers in the third period, it ended at +6 (51-57).

With a 4-0 run, Olympiacos entered the fourth period, reducing to a basket (55-57), with Hernangomet reacting for Barcelona and +4 (57-61), at 33′. Petrusev responded for Piraeus and the lead (62-61), with Veseli putting the “blaugrana” in front of them and the Serb responding with big baskets together with Williams-Goss for +6 (69-63), in 38′. Veseli and Satoranski kept Barcelona in front (73-75), with McKissick’s three-pointer giving Olympiakos the lead and Fal sending it to +3 (78-75), in the 43rd minute. Vesely reduced temporarily, with the French center making it 80-77, in the 44th minute. With a three-pointer by Satoranski, the Catalans tied the match (80-80), at 36.6”. Williams-Goss missed a three-pointer and was fouled (which the Piraeus team should have given), at 3.8”. At 0.5” Parker wins a foul from Petrusev on the three-pointer and making 2/3 made the final 80-82.
